Chemical Ecology World Meets Down Under Welcome to the International Chemical Ecology Conference, first join APACE and ISCE Conference with extended invitations to all Chemical Ecology related groups and scientists around the globe, due to be held at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre, 19-23 August 2013.
GENERAL INFORMATION: ICEC 2013 (www.icec2013.com.au), the first joint conference of the Asia-Pacific Association of Chemical Ecologists (APACE) (7-th biannual meeting, (www.apace-news.org) and the International Society of Chemical Ecology (ISCE) (29-th annual meeting, (www.chemecol.org) with invitation to the Latin American Association of Chemical Ecologists and all other groups related to Chemical Ecology around the globe, will be held in Australia at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre (MCEC) on 19-23 August 2013.

CONFERENCE VENUE: The Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre (www.mcec.com.au) is the world’s first “Six Green Star” environmentally rated convention centre and is integrated with Hilton South Wharf Hotel (4 and 5 star rooms), nestled on the Yarra River opposite to Melbourne CBD, close to many hotels and cafes.
The congress organising company WaldronSmith Management (www.waldronsmith.com.au) together with
Melbourne Convention & Visitors Bureau (www.mcvb.com.au) will address all needs of participants.
ACCOMMODATION OPTIONS: There are many hotels ranging from 5 to 3 stars and hostels for students and backpackers within walking distance from MCEC. Nearby cafes, bars and restaurants provide a wide range of international food and great coffee.

PROPOSED PROGRAM: Opening ceremony with Plenary Lectures, Three days of concurrent symposia sections with 18 half-day symposiums, poster presentations and workshop with exhibition, and field day activities on the final day of the conference. Please submit ideas for symposiums and workshops.
