Spanish growers happy with low VAT rate
And they seemed to be right. The sales figures showed that sales on the domestic market halved in 2013. Therefore the Spanish government lowers the VAT rate. Minister of Agriculture Arias Cañete announced that the VAT rate will return to the low rate.
Partly due to the VAT increase exports increased in recent years, but the domestic market remains very important for many growers. There is usually a low ridge specialization in terms of types of small, and therefore the delivery of large homogeneous batches is difficult.
